Wild Rose Therapy Services
FAQs

So...
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes! I would be happy to do a brief, 15 minute consultation call to see if we are a good fit. These calls are not intended to cause more stress; it usually involves briefly discussing the problem area, asking questions and gauging personality fit

How much do sessions cost?
Will my benefits cover some of the cost?
Sessions cost $200/hour inclusive. It is suggested that family and couple's therapy sessions are booked for 90 minutes. After payment, you will be provided a detailed receipt.

Most benefits and insurance providers will partially cover therapy costs until a maximum dollar amount per year is reached. Be sure to check your benefit plan/member booklet to see what your and/or your partners benefits will cover. Only a few insurance providers will not cover therapy provided from a Masters Level Clinical Social Worker.
You have two office locations?
Sessions are offered in both Calgary (Hillhurst, NW) and Cochrane, AB. Please check my booking calendar to find a session time that works for you. Any session can be accommodated virtually at either location. http://WildRoseTherapyServices.janeapp.com
Do you direct bill?
What is the cancellation policy?
Direct billing to Alberta Blue Cross, Green Shield, NIHB and Veteran's Affairs is available.

24 hours notice is required to change or cancel an appointment. Life happens and extenuating circumstances exist; please discuss any unforeseen circumstances before your session time. A credit card will be kept on file and charged for no-shows and last minute cancellations without just cause.
What kind of payments do you accept?
E-transfer or credit card payments through Square or Jane App are accepted at this time. Transaction fees are paid by WRTS.
When are sessions available?
There are a variety of session types available at both Calgary and Cochrane locations. I offer a variety of daytime, evening and weekend session times.
Do you keep notes of our sessions?
Is my information kept confidential always?
Is my information kept confidential even if I am a teenager?
What are my rights as a client?
Electronic notes are kept in a secure environment to ensure privacy. Session details and notes will not be shared with anyone unless a Release of Information (ROI) is completed by the client with specific instructions on who and what information is to be shared.
Demographic and session notes are kept strictly confidential unless the following exceptions apply: 1. The therapist has reason to believe that a person will imminently harm themselves or others unless other parties are involved to mitigate risk; 2. There are any reports of child abuse, neglect or endangerment where there are still currently children at risk; 3. The therapist receives a legal subpoena to attend court and provide information regarding sessions; 4. A Release of Information (ROI) is completed by the client (or by a parent/guardian with the knowledge of the youth) for a specific person for a specific reason.
Correct. That means that the nature of our sessions, interventions and treatment planning are kept confidential unless the aforementioned four criteria are met. This is to ensure you are confident you can share honestly.
As a client, you have the right to feel safe and expect unyielding respect in session. You have the right to ask questions, seek confirmation and discontinue services if you should choose. You should except to be challenged in a respectful and empathic fashion within the context of therapy.
